Additionally, you hold the right to have data rectified in line with Article 16 of the GDPR, erased according to Article 17 of the GDPR, or processing restricted as per Article 18 of the GDPR. Moreover, in accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR, you are entitled to request the release of your provided personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Gender

For reasons of ease of reading, we have refrained from using word forms on our website that may equally refer to both genders. We wish to state expressly, however, that the masculine forms appearing with reference to persons should be read as referring to both genders.

If you visit our website for information purposes only, we will record the data that your browser transmits to us. In detail, this comprises the following data sets:

The e-mail address provided when registering for the newsletter on easelink.com is only used for sending the newsletter. To send the newsletter, we use the e-mail address you provide and then require your confirmation that you, as the owner of the e-mail address, agree to receive it (so-called double opt-in). The legal basis for the processing of the data after registration for the newsletter by the user is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Accordingly, the user's e-mail address will be stored as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active. You can cancel the subscription at any time via the unsubscribe option provided in the newsletter or at press@easelink.com. We have commissioned rapidmail GmbH to carry out the newsletter mailing.

Use of data from contact forms

By reaching out to us through email or the contact form with any inquiries, you are providing consent for us to get in touch with you. A valid email address is necessary for this process, facilitating the tracking of your request and our subsequent response. While it's optional to provide additional information, any details you share will be stored to effectively address the initial request and potential follow-up questions. Your personal information will not be stored upon the completion of your request.

We collect personal data when you provide it to us using any contact form sent out by Easelink. Mandatory fields are marked as such, since in these cases we absolutely need the data to process your contact and cannot send it without it. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR.

Our website employs cookies and other technologies. Cookies, small text files stored on your computer by us or another party, provide specific information to the party setting the cookie. Each cookie is designated for a particular browser, and they cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your PC.

YouTube

This website utilizes YouTube, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to embed videos on our website. You can play videos directly from our site, and these videos are embedded in "extended data protection mode." This means that unless you click to play the videos, no data about you as a YouTube user is stored. However, it's important to note that YouTube contacts the Google service Double Click. According to YouTube, no data is retained in this scenario.
Your IP address and information about your video viewing will be stored by YouTube only when you initiate video playback. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, this information may also be linked to your user account. To prevent this association, it is advisable to log out of your YouTube account before playing the video. Please be aware that we have no control over how YouTube collects or processes data.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. This enables us to analyze our website for statistical purposes, specifically to measure its reach without creating user profiles. The cookie generates information about your website usage, which can be graphically processed and visualized using Google Data Studio software. Google Data Studio only accesses data already generated from Google Analytics. Basic processing of cookies for statistical purposes, limited to your individual website session, is conducted in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest stems from the aforementioned purposes. The of inactivity cookie's duration, indicating how long the collected information is retained, is set at 30 minutes after your period. This ensures the termination of your session, preventing recognition across multiple sessions.

This website employs Google Analytics 4. In the data collection process of Google Analytics 4, no IP addresses are logged or stored. In Google Analytics, all IP addresses collected from users in the EU are deleted before being recorded via EU domains and servers.

In addition to general withdrawal rights, you can prevent the compilation and transmission of data generated by the cookie, its use of website-related data (including your IP address) to Google, and the processing of data by Google.

Declaration of consent for applicants

Easelink agrees to protect all personal data collected and used within the company. The data protection measures comply EU data protection regulations. We want to point out, that Easelink collaborates in the application process with external personnel service providers, who act within the meaning of the GDPR as well. 

Use of personal data

Every application including CV – even those not considered initially – will be saved in our job application database for three years from application date. Easelink may contact applicants for future job offers where the requirements are met. The data stored in the job application database are also used for statistics purposes, however anonymized without revealing the applicant’s identity. The complete data are stored and used as described. Furthermore, information from job interviews is also included, without any negative statements.

Access rights

Access to the data, which is stored in the application database, is limited to the personnel management, the dedicated administrative staff as well as the executives and personnel service providers (processor), who are responsible for recruiting the respective vacancies. 

Data protection

The applicants have to ensure that the provided data are free of virus and other content that may harm the technical equipment of Easelink. In addition, information about ethical and racial origin, political or philosophical conviction, health issues or sexual orientation should not be included. All transmitted information must be truthful and must not infringe any copyright, trademark or other rights of third parties, nor violate common decency. Easelink and its contract parties are to be held harmless for damage due to violation of these terms. Different security measures like firewalls, anti-virus software, manual security checks and encryption are used to protect against loss or damage of data and to prevent unauthorized access or improper use. 

Agreement

The applicant explicitly agrees that the personal data may be processed and that the transmitted data concerning the application may be saved and administered. The applicant also accepts to be contacted via phone or e-mail to ensure a smooth application process.
