  • More than 20 weeks of success in real practical use of the innovative charging technology
  • Automatic, conductive charging of electric cars for various application scenarios
  • An important milestone in the industrialization process for Easelink

The test phase of the globally unique automatic, conductive charging technology for electric cars that requires no moving parts in the parking space continues to be a great success. The employees of the fourth-largest energy supply company in Austria describe the charging technology Matrix Charging from Easelink as extremely convenient. Simply park and charge. The electric car of Energie Steiermark is parked in the charging parking spot, and the connector integrated into the undercarriage of the vehicle connects to the charging pad installed on the ground. Since the end of September 2018, the conductive technology has been tested with great success. The system is highly efficient and also extraordinarily compact. It is optimal for home garages, supermarket parking lots and, of course, for use in vehicle fleets.

The test results obtained so far reflect the continuous development work and indicate a sophisticated and forward-looking solution. Careful data collection enables the evaluation of important information about the charging technology in real use. This data provides critical inputs for the continuous development of Matrix Charging. “With the focused use of modern technologies, we consistently expand on our lead in automatic charging,” explains Hermann Stockinger, founder of Easelink GmbH. Partners such as Energie Steiermark are of great importance here, since the tests represent a key aspect of Easelink’s validation program and mark milestones on the way to series production.

The next chapter of this success story will be written on the roads of the province of Styria, a region of innovation in both automotive and energy technology.
