Horizon 2020 is the biggest research and innovation program of the European Union with a funding budget of €80 billion available over the next 7 years from 2014 to 2020.
The SME (small medium enterprise) funding instrument of Horizon 2020 provided by the European Union helps small and medium sized companies to develop and industrialize new products and service with disruptive potential. The phase two of the SME funding instrument mainly focuses on financial support on innovation activities like demonstrations, testing, piloting and scale up of companies.
Easelink received a funding of phase two for the development and industrialization of Matrix Charging® under grant agreement No. GA830239.
In total, 65 small and medium sized companies from 16 countries received a total funding sum of € 113 million.
