VW ID.3 of ÖAMTC with Matrix Charging^® System

Can electric vehicles (EVs) be charged without picking up a charging cable or going to the next charging station? With Matrix Charging^® this is possible already today and will shape the future of EV charging. As soon as EVs with a Matrix Charging^® System are parked in the parking lot the charging connection is established automatically.

Within the EV fleet of ÖAMTC, a VW ID.3 already charges fully automatically with Matrix Charging^® at the ÖAMTC base in Vienna Erdberg. In the course of the development partnership with Easelink, ÖAMTC accompanies the development process of the ongoing series development of Matrix Charging^® and identifies important customer needs for all relevant charging scenarios.
